Role Overview

Summary of Job: The Chief CRNA will work in conjunction with the Medical Director of Anesthesia, anesthesiologists, CRNA staff, and all healthcare providers involved in the care of patients requiring analgesia/anesthesia services.

Facility Description:  Norton Brownsboro Hospital is a full-service, 197-bed community hospital serving patients from northeastern Jefferson County, Kentucky, and surrounding counties, including Carroll, Henry, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer and Trimble, as well as Southern Indiana. Using a patient- and family-centered model of care, Norton Brownsboro offers a wide range of inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic and neurosurgical care, cancer care and intensive care services. The hospital offers Exablate focused ultrasound to treat patients with tremors, as well as the TenJet System device for noninvasive treatment of patients with joint pain. Norton Brownsboro Hospital’s 24/7 emergency department has 39 private treatment rooms and a heliport for critical care transport, and it is a regional referral center for advanced neurosurgical conditions, specifically stroke care. DNV has certified Norton Brownsboro Hospital as a Comprehensive Stroke Center, providing the highest-level treatment for serious stroke events, and as an Advanced Orthopedic & Spine Center of Excellence for knee and hip replacement, and shoulder and spine surgery.
